Recent statistics from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) show that veteran unemployment continues to trend downward. The veteran unemployment rate in December 2018 was 3.2 percent, down from 3.8 percent in December 2017. This puts veteran unemployment levels below that of the general U.S. population; 4 percent.
