NGMA AGT 2023: A Year of Firsts

  • 2023 was a year of growth and new beginnings for the National Grants Management Association (NGMA) Annual Grants Training (AGT), which took place April 10-13, 2023 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. The AGT, which had in recent years been held in Arlington, VA, moved to Washington, DC, and boasted a record number of attendees and vendors. Over 1,200 grants professionals attended sessions and flowed through the exhibit hall to visit 35 exhibit booths.

Two Days of Discovery: AGA NLT 2023

  • AGA kicked off the year with another stellar conference, hosting the 2023 National Leadership Training at the Ronald Reagan Building International Trade Center in Washington, DC. The event took place February 22-23, 2023 with plenary and breakout sessions, and both an in-person and virtual exhibit hall. With over 600 in-person attendees and 500 online, #NLT23 was alive with networking opportunities and of course the opportunity for up to 14 CPEs.

75 Years of Excellence: ASMC Alamo City Symposium

  • From February 16-17, 2023, Management Concepts staff had the pleasure of returning to San Antonio, TX to support the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) Alamo City Chapter Professional Development Symposium (PDS) as a Diamond Sponsor, presenting a session as well as greeting ASMC members at our booth in the exhibit hall. Several hundred attendees gathered at the education center at Fort Sam Houston to attend sessions and earn continuing education credit, explore the exhibit hall, and network with other defense financial management professionals.

Getting it Done at NCMA GCMS 2022

  • The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Government Contract Management Symposium (GCMS) 2022 drew crowds to Bethesda, MD, and the virtual conference platform to learn from contracting professionals tackling the theme “Get It Done: Solutions from the Front Lines.”

    The event kicked off on Sunday, December 4 with a welcome reception that included a cookie decorating contest and a festive holiday sweater contest. But December 5th and 6th  were all business as attendees attended sessions and earned continuing education credits.

Navigating Tomorrow at the FAA Managers Association Convention

  • Management Concepts was pleased to return as a Bronze Sponsor to the Federal Aviation Administration Managers Association (FAAMA) 41st Annual FAAMA Convention and “Managing The Skies” Expo (FAAMA Convention). From Rock to Royalty: Revisiting AGA PDT 2022

  • Management Concepts visited Anaheim, California to exhibit in this year’s AGA Professional Development Training (PDT) from Sunday, July 17 to Tuesday, July 19. We were especially excited for this year as this year’s conference was the first in-person event in two years.   • After two years of virtual events, the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) returned to the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C., for the 2022 NASWA Veterans Conference on July 28–30, 2022. State workforce agency staff were excited to greet each in person for three days of learning, networking, and sharing the latest information in the field.
